ERP & MES Integration — Odoo & SAP

The most common problem in manufacturing companies is not the lack of systems — it's that systems don't talk to each other. The ERP has the production order but doesn't know the real line progress. The MES controls the process but doesn't update ERP inventory. Sales generate orders that the warehouse doesn't see until someone prints them and carries them on paper. We develop custom modules in Odoo for processes that don't exist in the standard version — manufacturing with specific traceability, special-logic quoting, quality reports — and configure connectors with SAP, MM/SD/PP modules and legacy systems. For businesses with physical points of sale, we integrate POS hardware (barcode readers, fiscal printers, scales) directly with Odoo for automated cash flow.

Historical data migration is the most underestimated component of any ERP implementation: years of transaction history, clients, suppliers and materials are operational assets that must be transferred completely to the new system with integrity validation. Our migration process includes schema mapping, data transformation, test environment loading with client validation and final migration with documented rollback plan — so go-live happens with clean data and confidence, not with the hope that it works out.
